Prep for Prep

Term times:

Prep for Prep - Is your child needing some extra support with their transition to Prep in 2024? Then come and join our pre class simulation program which focusses on developing school readiness skills incl. fine motor, social, playground skills, managing belongings, following school routines and tabletop activities.

At an additional cost, this program can also include a report with recommendations/ strategies on how best your school can support your child's learning needs into the future.

Please note your child will be required to come with their school bag, packed lunch box, hat, and sunscreen.

Children must attend over 3 consecutive days

Dates:
Group 1 - Wed, 10 Jan -  Fri,  12 Jan 2024
Group 2- Mon, 15 Jan - Wed, 17 Jan 2024

Time: 10am - 1pm (all sessions)

Venue: Biala Peninsula, 1 Elizabeth Street, Mornington

Cost: From 871.99 in total for 3 days

The indicative cost will vary depending on the number of participants and includes setup/pack up, planning and writing of case notes. The cost of the optional report and feedback session with a therapist will be in addition to the group program at the NDIS rate of $193.99 per hour.

Biala Holiday Assessment Clinic

Assessment Clinic: Biala is offering one off assessments for children with either an occupational therapist or Specialist Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). The aim of the assessment clinic is to provide recommendations to families or other professionals supporting the child.

SEA Bridge - Program of Support

For 6-12 year olds. Facilitated by a Biala Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist. The SEA Bridge is a neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based program to support your child. Created by autistic and neurodivergent adults for autistic and neurodivergent youth, your children will gain confidence in authentically expressing themselves and advocating for their needs.
