Our Philosophy

Biala walks side by side with children who have disabilities, developmental delays or additional needs and their families to provide safe, nurturing, high quality programs through inclusive learning environments, therapies, support services, information and training. Our vision is that children with disabilities or additional needs are active participants in all aspects of family and community life during the early years and into the future.

Children are the lifeblood of Biala. It is our role to support them and their families. And we have successfully done so for over forty years.

We are committed to making children feel included, understood and appreciated. We have a duty of care to ensure they become confident, are able to express themselves, do not feel judged or different and above all, feel happy and safe within their world.

Our team at Biala is made up of very special people. They are highly empathetic. They engage with families through the lens of the child, irrespective of circumstances, however complex. Our team all share the desire to add value by ensuring that even the smallest of gestures has limitless bounds.

We instil belief and confidence through a child-centred approach and philosophy.
