Aquatic Intensive (OT)

Term times:

1: 1 Staff and Child sessions:  Encourages motor development, supports effective sensory processing, and develops social interaction, play & communication skills.

An approved program for children eligible through NDIS funding; claimable through Chronic Disease Management Plan – Medicare.

Private fee paying is also available.

COST:  353.06 in total for 3 sessions (*Please refer to the Biala Peninsula Billing Guide for more information about our billing).

DATES:

1. Tue-Thu, 16-18 January
2. Tue-Thu, 23-25 January

TIME:  1.30pm - 4.30pm
30 minute sessions

Session time will be confirmed at the time of booking and will be the same across the 3 days.

Term Group - Biala Buddies

For ages 7-12. Biala Social Groups - facilitated by Occupational Therapists - provide a supported space for neurodivergent children to connect with each other while exploring and developing their own communication, social and regulation needs. Typical activities in this group include movement based games (i.e., Tiggy/Tag), construction based activities (i.e., Lego)

Term Group - Biala Besties

For ages 6-9. Biala Social Groups - facilitated by Occupational Therapists - provide a supported space for neurodivergent children to connect with each other while exploring and developing their own communication, social and regulation needs. Typical activities in this group include Arts and Craft Dance based games (i.e., musical statues)

Early Childhood Huddles

The Early Childhood Huddle is a program for pre-school aged children (2-6 years old) that is run by a team of specialists – consisting of an Occupational Therapist, a Speech Pathologist and a Specialist Early Childhood Educator. The team works with you and your child individually as well as in a small group setting. The program is designed to combine individualised support for your child’s development with a small group setting to practice new skills and meet other families to form social connections and informal support structures.
