The PLAY TOGETHER program has been developed with 3-5 year old, pre-school children in mind. The focus will be on communication, social and play skills in a play-based group setting. The aim will be to get children familiar with a small group setting and sharing resources with other children of a similar age and developmental level. There will be a routine each week including a short mat time and a snack. Fine/gross motor activities will be provided each week as well as toys to encourage cooperative play and shared engagement.
The specific goals of the group are:
· To upskill parents on how best to support their child to remain regulated and communicate their needs during the session. A short survey will be provided at the end of Term 2 to provide feedback on these goals.
· For children to remain in the same play space as another child and share resources for 5-10 minutes at a time. This goal will be assessed via observations/discussions with parents.

The children will need to bring a bag with a change of clothes, nappies and wipes if needed, and a snack and water for snack time.
Parents will be required to stay for the duration of each session.
