New! 'EMU' Huddle
Early Childhood Program of Support
Designed for children aged 3 – 5 years, this multidisciplinary program is designed to support early development through individualised and group-based learning. It is led by a team of specialists, including an Occupational Therapist,
Speech Pathologist, and a Specialist Early Childhood Educator.
With guidance from our experienced team, children practise new skills in a supportive small group environment. Families are invited to engage in the process, helping form social connections and informal support networks while strengthening their capacity to support their child’s growth.
This program will support children to:
- Receive tailored developmental support through a team-based, specialist approach
- Practise new skills in a group setting while building connections with other families
Program inclusions:
Group program – fortnightly sessions hosted at Biala, for the child and parent / carer along with the huddle team based on age and developmental stage.
Individual support – fortnightly individual sessions with your Key Worker, tailored to your child's needs and agreed goals. This might include sessions with our experienced Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist or Specialist Early Childhood Teacher. Based on availability, sessions can be held at Biala, at your home, or in a community setting.
