Early Childhood Huddles

Term times:

The Early Childhood Huddle is a program for pre-school aged children (2-6 years old) that is run by a team of specialists – consisting of an Occupational Therapist, a Speech Pathologist and a Specialist Early Childhood Educator. The team works with you and your child individually as well as in a small group setting. The program is designed to combine individualised support for your child’s development with a small group setting to practise new skills and meet other families to form social connections and informal support structures.

The purpose of the Biala Early Childhood Huddle is to:

· Support your child’s development through a specialist, multidisciplinary approach
· Build your capacity to support your child’s development
· Foster social connections with other families

What is included in the Program?

The program runs for 10 weeks per school term. Each term the huddle groups will have a focus on a different developmental area.

This plan is reviewed on an annual basis.
